BONC Gears Up for a Grand 20th Anniversary Celebration! एकताको दुई दशक

Today, BONC members gathered to prepare for the grand celebration. They showcased their sledgehammer and dozer skills while getting the stage ready. Some performers practiced dancing and singing in the community hall, while others were busy clearing the bushes. Umesh Ji, our cultural secretary, also planted a tree in memory of his late parents. The hard work came to an end by a dinner prepared by the Ama Samuah made up of delicious rice, curry and achar.
The Burnt Oak Nepalese Community Nepali is gearing up for an important festival that promises to be both nostalgic and forward-looking. This year marks the 20th anniversary of our vibrant and close-knit community.
Reflecting on the past 20 years, it’s incredible to see how far we have come. From humble beginnings, our community has grown in size, strength, and spirit. We have shared memories, celebrated numerous festivals, and supported each other. This anniversary is not just a celebration of time but a testament to our resilience, culture, and the strong bonds that hold us together – Ayo Gorkhali!
To make this milestone even more special, we are proud to announce the opening of our new Hall, a place that signifies our growth and unity over the past two decades.
The newly acquired hall is more than just a building; it is a dream realised. This space will serve as the heart of our community, a place where we can gather, celebrate, and continue to preserve our rich Nepalese heritage. The hall is equipped with modern facilities to host events, cultural programs, and community meetings, ensuring that we have a dedicated space to nurture our traditions and foster a sense of belonging.

बर्नटोक नेपाली समुदाय स्थापना २० वर्ष पुरा भयको उत्सवमा हामीसँग सामेल हुनुहोस्
आज, बीओएनसी सदस्यहरू भव्य उत्सवको तयारीको लागि एक साथ भेला भएका थिये। असमान सतहहरू मिलाउदै, स्टेज को लागी थाउ को तयारी, अनि साधरण सरसफाई र उत्साहलाई आमा मसमुदायले घरको स्वादिष्ट भात, अचारको साथ करीले यसलाई अझ सार्थक बनायो । हाम्रा सांस्कृतिक सचिव उमेश जीले पनि आफ्ना स्वर्गीय आमाबुवाको सम्झनामा रूख रोपनु भायो।
विगत २० वर्षलाई नियाल्दा हामी कति टाढा आइपुगेका छौं भन्ने कुरा अविश्वसनीय छ । नम्र सुरुवातदेखि नै हाम्रो समुदायआकार, शक्ति र मनोभावमा वृद्धि भएको छ । हामीले सम्झनाहरू साटासाट गरेका छौं, धेरै चाडहरू मनाएका छौं, र एक अर्कालाई समर्थन गरेका छौं। यो वर्षगाँठ केवल समयको उत्सव मात्र होइन तर हाम्रो संस्कृति र हामीलाई एकसाथ बाँध्ने बलियो बन्धनको प्रमाण हो
यो जुलाई 13 हामी एउटा महत्त्वपूर्ण माइलस्टोन मनाउँदै छौं| यो अवसर उत्सव मात्र होइन; यो एक पुनर्मिलन, एक प्रतिबिम्ब, र एक नवीकरण हो। हामी सबै समुदायका सदस्यहरू, साथीहरू, र शुभचिन्तकहरूलाई एकताको 20 वर्ष मनाउन र हाम्रो नयाँ हलको उद्घाटनमा सहभागी हुन आमन्त्रित गर्दछौं। आउनुहोस् हामी हाम्रा विगतका उपलब्धिहरू मनाउन र प्रतिज्ञा र समृद्धिले भरिएको भविष्यको लागि तत्पर बनौं
भर्खरै अधिग्रहण गरिएको हल केवल एक भवन भन्दा बढी छ; यो सपना साकार भएको छ । यो ठाउँले हाम्रो समुदायको मुटुको रूपमा काम गर्नेछ, यस्तो ठाउँ जहाँ हामी भेला हुन सक्छौं, उत्सव मनाउन सक्छौं, र हाम्रो समृद्ध नेपाली सम्पदाको संरक्षण जारी राख्न सक्छौं। हल मा आधुनिक सुविधाहरु संग सुसज्जित छ कार्यक्रमहरु, सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमहरु, र सामुदायिक बैठकहरु को मेजबानी गर्न को लागी, यो सुनिश्चित गर्दछ कि हाम्रो परम्पराहरु को पोषण गर्न र अपनत्व को भावना को बढावा को लागी एक समर्पित स्थान छ।
यो अवसरको एक हिस्सा बन्नुहोस्। सँगै, यस उत्सवलाई हाम्रो समुदायको इतिहासको एक अविस्मरणीय अध्याय बनाऔं।
