We're delighted to share the exciting news that BONC has successfully acquired a community hall!
This achievement represents a significant milestone, highlighting the progress we've made together over the past 20 years. It's a testament to the dedication and collective effort of everyone involved.
Having this community hall opens new possibilities for us. We can now expand our outreach efforts, bringing our community closer together through various events, workshops, and valuable services. It's a space where we can all come together, share experiences, and support one another.
We owe a huge debt of gratitude to our councillor, Mr. Kamal Gurung, whose unwavering commitment and hard work have been instrumental in making this acquisition a reality. His leadership has been invaluable, and we're fortunate to have him on our team.
An impromptu meeting was convened by BONC Chairman, Mr. Khamir Gurung. He addressed members' queries and concerns regarding the hall's terms of use. Approximately 50 members attended, engaging in discussions facilitated by Mr. Khamir Gurung, Councillor Mr. Kamal Gurung, Vice Chairman Mr. Murari Thapa, and former Deputy Mayor and Councillor Mr. Lacchya Gurung.
The importance of ensuring fair and equitable access to the hall was a key message and it appears that the duration of the lease on BONC's favour depends on our ability to ensure that the hall serves the greater good of the community through regular events, particularly for its elderly and vulnerable members, with transparency in administrating the day-to-day activities of the hall.
The meeting concluded with plans for a follow-up meeting to provide updates on progress and finalised terms. Minutes of the meeting, prepared by BONC Secretary Mr. Prem Kandel, were shared on the BONC Viber group.
As we move forward, we'll be finalising the details and keeping everyone informed every step of the way. But let's also take a moment to recognize and appreciate the efforts of past BONC committees. Their contributions have laid the foundation for our success, and we're grateful for their hard work.

यो उपलब्धिले विगत २० वर्षमा हामीले सँगै गरेका प्रगतिलाई हाइलाइट गर्दै एउटा महत्त्वपूर्ण कोसेढुङ्गाको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्दछ। यो संलग्न सबैको समर्पण र सामूहिक प्रयासको प्रमाण हो।
यो सामुदायिक हल हुनुले हाम्रो लागि नयाँ सम्भावनाहरू खोल्छ। हामी अब हाम्रो आउटरिच प्रयासहरू विस्तार गर्न सक्छौं, विभिन्न कार्यक्रमहरू, कार्यशालाहरू, र मूल्यवान सेवाहरू मार्फत हाम्रो समुदायलाई एकसाथ नजिक ल्याएर। यो एउटा ठाउँ हो जहाँ हामी सबै सँगै आउन सक्छौं, अनुभवहरू साझा गर्न सक्छौं, र एकअर्कालाई समर्थन गर्न सक्छौं।
हामी हाम्रा काउन्सिलर श्री कमल गुरुङप्रति आभारी छौं, जसको अटल प्रतिबद्धता र कडा परिश्रमले यो अधिग्रहणलाई वास्तविकतामा ल्याउन मद्दत गरेको छ। उहाँको नेतृत्व अमूल्य छ, र उहाँलाई हाम्रो टोलीमा पाउँदा हामी भाग्यशाली छौं।
BONC अध्यक्ष खमिर गुरुङले तत्काल बैठक बोलाएका थिए । उनले हलको प्रयोगका सर्तहरूका सम्बन्धमा सदस्यहरूको जिज्ञासा र चिन्तालाई सम्बोधन गरे। खमिर गुरुङ, पार्षद श्री कमल गुरुङ, उपाध्यक्ष मुरारी थापा, पूर्व उपमेयर तथा पार्षद लच्छ्य गुरुङको सहयोगमा भएको छलफलमा करिब ५० जना सदस्यहरुको सहभागिता रहेको थियो ।
हलमा निष्पक्ष र समतामूलक पहुँच सुनिश्चित गर्ने महत्त्व एक प्रमुख सन्देश थियो र यस्तो देखिन्छ कि BONC को पक्षमा लीजको अवधि हलले नियमित कार्यक्रमहरू मार्फत समुदायको राम्रो सेवा गर्दछ भनेर सुनिश्चित गर्ने हाम्रो क्षमतामा निर्भर गर्दछ, विशेष गरी यसको लागि। वृद्ध र कमजोर सदस्यहरू, हलको दैनिक गतिविधिहरू प्रशासनमा पारदर्शिताका साथ।
बैठक प्रगति र अन्तिम सर्तहरूको अद्यावधिकहरू प्रदान गर्न अनुगमन बैठकको योजनाको साथ समाप्त भयो। BONC सचिव श्री प्रेम कँडेलले तयार पारेको बैठकको बिवरण BONC भाइबर समूहमा साझा गरिएको थियो।
हामी अगाडि बढ्दै जाँदा, हामी विवरणहरूलाई अन्तिम रूप दिनेछौं र प्रत्येक पाइलामा सबैलाई सूचित गर्नेछौं। तर विगतका BONC समितिहरूको प्रयासलाई चिन्न र प्रशंसा गर्न पनि एक क्षण लिनुहोस्। तिनीहरूको योगदानले हाम्रो सफलताको जग खडा गरेको छ, र हामी तिनीहरूको कडा परिश्रमको लागि कृतज्ञ छौं।
