Unleashing 2081: A New Year's Bash
PAST EVENTS

The New Year's bash was slow to start but it quickly turned into a memorable night. My favourite part? The spontaneous dance-offs, indulging in delicious bites of Aloo ko Achar, and especially the irresistible Sel Roti that I enjoyed so much, I made sure to grab some for home too.
Burnt Oak Nepalese Community and the Mamaghar Entertainment hosted the New Year 2081 event on April 27, 2024 at the Mill Hill School, Ridgeway.
The event featured a diverse blend of musical genres, including elements of slow rock and traditional Lok Geet captivating the hearts of those there for the event.
The show kicked off with a formal ceremony hosted by the BONC chairman, Mr. Khamir J Gurung, who presented certificates and tokens of appreciation to the artists, marking the beginning of the event.
Soon enough, everyone was dancing with energy and excitement to the music of various artists including Bhumika Giri, Nirjala Gurung, popular artists from Nepal along with Sudesh Vaidya (Gloomy Boy) and Shubh Band.
The party happened about two weeks after the official New Years Day , and the event was delayed due some technical issues. But once it got going, it really kicked off with a bang.
